Complementary feed in tablets for dogs and cats
In dogs, skeletal muscles make up about 50% of the total body mass. In working and sporting dogs, it is important that these muscles be trophic and well-developed. This goal is difficult to achieve with a basic diet, which is why we can include Muscle Pet, a complementary feed to support muscle function, in our pet's diet. Muscle Pet contains carnitine, which promotes the entry of fatty acids into the mitochondrion to increase energy production in muscle. Taurine plays an important role in muscle contractility, normal function of the brain, heart, eyes, and vascular system. In the cat, it is an essential amino acid and must be taken through the diet to allow normal muscle, heart, as well as reproductive function. Glycine is also an essential amino acid; it is one of the precursors of creatine and is essential for muscle contraction. Muscle pet is therefore recommended in working dogs to support muscle mass, in sports dog to promote performance and in debilitated and inappetent dogs to facilitate recovery, and in pets with temporary increased needs, such as in breeders.
